Revved Up Performance Introduces Bolt-On M156 Exhaust Systems
RUP Launches New Product Line for the M156 Powered AMG Vehicles
Knoxville, TN: Revved Up Performance is proud to announce the new M156 Exhaust Product Line, available for immediate release. The new product line features three major exhaust sections, or as a bundled whole and a full dyno derived ECU Tune. The exhaust components not only enhance the sound of the M156 V8, but also improve power by up to 15%. The complete exhaust system delivers up to 18 horsepower over the stock system on a factory tune, and up to 68 horsepower with the dyno tune. All exhaust parts are precision TIG welded stainless steel and feature 3.5 inch piping.
The exhaust system is split into three major components, the long tube headers, midsection, and axle back. Unlike other companies, our long tube headers are designed specifically to help the M156 engine breath the best. Rather than just leaving them bare, the headers are coated in ceramic to mitigate heat soak to other engine components. The midsection deletes the factory catalytic converters and resonators in favor of a high flow catalytic converter by MagnaFlow and an X-Pipe. At the end, the axle back section replaces the factory mufflers with two different options. Option one includes 2 high flow mufflers replacing the factory mufflers with classic AMG oval quad tips. Option two is the higher performance choice that features 2 straight through resonators replacing the factory mufflers, but also include the classic AMG oval quad tips. All exhaust parts use factory flanges not just to make installation simple, but the added accessibility for the customer of being able to choose which components to replace.
Our exhaust components improve sound and power, however, unlike other systems, ours remains 50 state legal and passes CARB standards. All exhaust components are available for order on our website for immediate delivery and installation.
